AIStatements

How accurate is AI financial analysis? And nine more straight answers

Short version: the figures are computed, not generated, so accuracy tracks your bookkeeping; the AI only writes the narrative and cites every number. The long version, and everything else people ask before signing up, is below.

How accurate is AI financial analysis?

The figures in an AIStatements pack are deterministic: computed from your ledger with ordinary accounting math, never generated by a language model. The AI writes only the narrative layer, and every sentence cites numbers visible in the statements. In practice that means the analysis is as accurate as your bookkeeping; when the data is inconsistent, the pack flags it instead of smoothing it over.

Is this accounting, audit, tax or investment advice?

No. AIStatements is software that formats and analyzes your data. It is not a CPA firm or an audit firm, it does not certify GAAP or IFRS compliance, and its output is not accounting, audit, tax or investment advice. Have a licensed professional review anything you file or submit.

What file formats can I upload?

CSV and delimited bank exports work out of the box. The mapper detects date, amount and description columns in most layouts, including separate debit and credit columns. If you keep books in QuickBooks or Xero, connect them directly and skip files entirely.

Is my financial data safe?

Data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256). It is never sold and never used to train AI models. The sample demo on this site parses files in your browser, so nothing is uploaded until you have a workspace. Enterprise plans add a DPA, security review, SSO and an audit log.

Does it work with QuickBooks and Xero?

Yes. Connect either ledger and the full pack builds from live data, including the accrual balance sheet. The connection is read-only: AIStatements never writes back to your books.

Can my accounting firm use it for clients?

Yes, that is the Firm plan: up to 25 client companies in separate workspaces, preparer and reviewer roles, an approval step before export, and white-label packs on your letterhead. Larger practices run on Enterprise with SSO and invoicing.

What does it cost?

Starter is $39 a month for one company, Growth $99 for up to five, Firm $289 for up to 25 client companies, all billed yearly (monthly billing is $49, $119 and $349). Enterprise is by agreement. There is no free plan; the sample demo is the free taste.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes, from billing in one click. Yearly plans do not auto-renew without notice, and your exports remain yours after you leave.

How long does a statement pack take?

About 60 seconds from upload to finished pack; the median generation time this quarter is 42 seconds. Review takes as long as you give it, which is the point: the hours move from typesetting to judgment.

What is AIStatements, in one sentence?

AIStatements is an AI financial statement generator that turns a bookkeeping export or a connected QuickBooks/Xero ledger into a board-ready P&L, balance sheet and cash flow statement with plain-English analysis, ratios and red-flag detection.
