Is there a free plan?
No. The interactive sample demo on the homepage is free to use as long as you like; the product itself is paid because it does paid-grade work. Starter is $39 a month, less than an hour of anyone's bookkeeper.
What counts as a company?
One set of books: a legal entity or a consolidated group you report as one. Growth includes five, Firm includes 25 client companies, Enterprise is negotiated.
Can I switch plans or cancel?
Yes, both, from billing in one click. Upgrades prorate immediately; yearly plans do not auto-renew without notice. Your exports are yours regardless.
What does Enterprise actually add?
The things procurement asks about: SSO/SAML, granular roles, audit log, 99.9% SLA, a DPA and security review, invoicing, onboarding. If your buying process has a security questionnaire, that is the tier.
