Numeric does not publish a price in 2026. Its pricing page, read on 9 October 2026, lists four modules (Close Management and Analytics, Cash Management, Billing and Revenue, and a full ERP Replacement) and sends every one of them to Schedule a demo. The price is built from your transaction volume, your seat count and which modules you take. The best independent figure is Vendr's buyer data: a median of $15,000 a year across 48 purchases, from $4,320 at the low end to $41,976 at the high end.
That is a big change from the Numeric most reviews still describe, which had a free entry tier and then an Essentials plan at $30 per user per month. Below is what you can and cannot buy today, how the quote is built, what a small team should expect to pay in year one, and when a cheaper reporting tool is the better answer to the problem that sent you to Numeric in the first place.

Numeric pricing by module as of October 2026
We read numeric.io/pricing on 9 October 2026 and took a full screenshot of the page. It shows no dollar figure anywhere. What it does show is the module structure, which is what a quote is built on.
| Module | Price shown | What it includes |
|---|---|---|
| Close Management and Analytics | Quote after demo | Close checklist and project management, live ERP integrations with auto-reconciliations, ongoing transaction monitoring, custom reporting, flux analysis, review notes |
| Cash Management | Quote after demo | Automated matching of up to 95% of bank transactions, journal entry automation, live bank feeds, AI parsing of bank statements for cash reconciliations |
| Billing and Revenue | Quote after demo | Usage event ingestion and matching to contract lines, invoicing and collections, revenue recognition schedules, contract modifications and SSP handling, ASC 606 |
| ERP Replacement | Quote after demo | All of the above plus subledger automation, policy-enforced workflows, the Prism in-app AI, and a data foundation positioned to replace NetSuite |
The first three modules sit on top of the ERP you already have. Numeric's FAQ names NetSuite, QuickBooks Online, Xero and Sage Intacct as supported, and says you can combine any modules except ERP Replacement, which already includes the full set.
How Numeric builds a quote
Numeric's FAQ answers "How does pricing work?" in one line: pricing accounts for transaction volume, number of seats and other business context. Vendr's page gives the same inputs and adds company size and the integrations you need. In practice that means four things move your number.
- Seats. Every accountant, reviewer and approver who logs in. A team of three pays very differently from a team of fifteen.
- Transaction volume. This matters most for Cash Management and Billing and Revenue, where the product is matching and processing transactions.
- Modules. Close alone is the smallest contract. Adding cash and revenue moves you toward the top of the range, and ERP Replacement is a different purchase altogether.
- Onboarding and migration. The FAQ says these are scoped and disclosed upfront, which means they are priced, not free. Ask for them as a separate line.
Why do Numeric price reviews disagree?
Because Numeric has changed its price list twice. Through 2024 and into 2025 the entry tier was free. After that, several pricing trackers and review sites listed an Essentials tier at $30 per user per month, with Growth and Enterprise quoted. Our own AI accounting software comparison carried that $30 figure until this month. Today the vendor page shows modules and demos only, which is the pattern we have seen at several finance tools after a large funding round: published self-serve pricing disappears once the product moves up market.
The rule we apply to every vendor on this site holds here too. Quote only the vendor's own page, date it, and use buyer data such as Vendr for the realistic range. If a review still quotes $30 per user, it is describing a plan you cannot buy.
How much does Numeric cost per year?
Vendr's median of $15,000 a year is the most useful single figure, and the range tells you more than the median. The bottom of the range, about $4,300, fits a small team on close management only. The top, about $42,000, fits a larger team buying several modules. The table below sets that against the published cost of the tools a small team usually compares.
| Option | Annual cost | What you get |
|---|---|---|
| Numeric, low end of Vendr range | About $4,300 | Close management for a small team |
| Numeric, Vendr median | $15,000 | A typical contract across 48 purchases |
| Numeric, high end of Vendr range | About $42,000 | Larger teams, more modules |
| Xenett Workflow, 25 clients | $3,000 | Close review and firm workflow at $10 per client a month (accounting firms) |
| AIStatements Growth | $708 | Tied P&L, balance sheet and cash flow with written commentary, up to 5 companies |
Those rows are not the same product. Numeric runs a close; AIStatements produces the statements after it. The comparison is still the right one to make, because a lot of teams arrive at a close platform demo when what they actually lack is the monthly pack.
Is Numeric worth it for a small finance team?
It depends on where your hours go. Numeric is built for a controller running a structured close with several accountants, an auditor asking for reconciliation support and an ERP such as NetSuite. Its named customers, Brex, Mercury, Plaid, Asana and Wealthfront among them, are that shape. For that team, a five-figure contract that takes a third off the close timeline is easy to justify.
A company with one bookkeeper, a fractional CFO and books in QuickBooks Online is a different case. The close is usually done in a week. The slow part is turning the closed month into a P&L, balance sheet and cash flow with an explanation a founder, a board or a lender can read. A close platform does not shorten that, because its reports are built for the finance team, not for the people the finance team reports to.
Teams that do run their close from a warehouse, pulling payroll and CRM data into flux explanations the way Numeric's agentic flux does, have one more thing to check before trusting any automated variance note: where each number came from. Data lineage and observability for the warehouse shows which upstream table fed a figure and flags it when a source stops refreshing, which is the failure that makes an AI-drafted explanation confidently wrong.
A cheaper route when the pack is the problem
AIStatements reads a trial balance or general ledger export from QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks Desktop, Xero, NetSuite or any CSV. It builds the three statements, checks that they tie (net income into retained earnings, ending cash on the cash flow equal to cash on the balance sheet), writes the variance commentary, computes margins, burn, runway, current ratio and days sales outstanding, and exports PDF and Excel in about a minute. Growth at $59 a month billed yearly adds multi-period comparisons, consolidation of up to five entities and an investor update draft. We lay out the full side-by-side on Numeric accounting alternative and show the deliverable on monthly financial reporting package.
It does not run a close checklist, reconcile accounts or match bank transactions. If your close is slow, buy a close tool and get quotes from Numeric and FloQast on the same seat count. Our month-end close software page shows which close steps stay with that tool and which one a reporting layer takes over. If the close is fine and the pack is late, fix the pack first and revisit the close platform when you hire your second accountant.
Questions to ask Numeric before you sign
- Which modules does the quote include, and what does close management cost on its own?
- How many seats are counted, and do reviewers and approvers count as full seats?
- What transaction volume is the quote based on, and what happens when it grows?
- What are onboarding and data migration priced at, as separate lines?
- Is the contract annual or multi-year, and what is the renewal cap?
Numeric pricing questions buyers ask
How much does Numeric cost?
Numeric does not list a price. Every module is quoted after a demo, based on transaction volume, seats and the modules you buy. Vendr reports a median contract of $15,000 a year across 48 purchases, with a range from $4,320 to $41,976, updated February 2026. The pricing page was read on 9 October 2026.
Does Numeric have a free plan?
Not any more. Numeric offered a free entry tier during 2024 and early 2025, then an Essentials plan at $30 per user per month. Neither appears on numeric.io/pricing as of 9 October 2026. Every module, including close management on its own, now starts with a demo and a quote.
Is Numeric priced per user?
Partly. Numeric says pricing combines the number of seats, transaction volume and other business context, so seat count is one input rather than the whole price. Teams with heavy cash matching or usage billing pay more for volume even with few users. Ask for the seat and volume assumptions in writing.
Does Numeric charge for implementation?
Numeric's FAQ says onboarding and data migration are scoped and disclosed upfront as part of the evaluation. That means they are priced into the deal rather than included by default. Ask for them as separate lines so you can compare the software cost with other close tools fairly.
What is cheaper than Numeric for monthly financial statements?
If the close already works and you only need the statements, a reporting tool costs far less. AIStatements produces a tied P&L, balance sheet and cash flow with commentary from a QuickBooks, Xero or CSV export from $24 a month billed yearly, or $708 a year on Growth for up to five companies.
