FloQast does not publish a price in 2026. Its pricing page, read on 12 October 2026, sells three packages (Close Management, Close AI and Risk and Compliance), promises "No Per-User Fees" and sends every package to Contact Sales. The best independent figure is Vendr's buyer data: a median of $24,481 a year across 312 purchases, from $10,147 at the low end to $68,727 at the high end, with implementation quoted on top.

That leaves a controller with a demo booked and no number to plan around. Below is what each package includes, how the quote is built now that seats are no longer the meter, what implementation adds, what year one realistically costs, and when a much smaller purchase solves the problem that sent you to FloQast.

FloQast pricing by package as of October 2026

We read floqast.com/pricing on 12 October 2026 and took a full-page screenshot. There is no dollar figure, no calculator and no starting-from line. What the page does show is the package structure, and that is what the sales team quotes against.

PackagePrice shownWhat it includes
Close ManagementContact SalesClose checklist, account reconciliations tied out and signed off, accounting operations, project tracking, AI assistant, ERP integration
Close AI (marked Most Popular)Contact SalesEverything in Close Management plus AI agents, high-volume AI matching including three-way matching, automated amortization, depreciation and subledger reconciliations, automatic journal entry posting, anomaly detection, real-time variance explanations
Risk and ComplianceContact SalesControls, audit readiness, enterprise risk management, operational audits and testing; sold alone or with either Close package

Two things stand out. Close AI is the package FloQast steers buyers toward, so expect the first proposal to be built on it. And Risk and Compliance is a separate purchase, which matters if your auditor or your SOX readiness work is what triggered the evaluation.

How FloQast builds a quote without per-user fees

The pricing page says packages "scale with your business outcomes, not your seat count." It does not say what the outcomes are. Buyer data and the way the product is sold point to four inputs that actually move the number.

  • Package. Close Management is the smallest contract. Close AI adds the matching and posting automation. Risk and Compliance is priced on top.
  • Entities and ERPs. A single NetSuite entity is a different project from twelve subsidiaries across NetSuite and Sage Intacct. Entity count drives both the subscription and the implementation.
  • Reconciliation and transaction volume. Vendr lists the AutoRec module, FloQast's reconciliation engine under the older packaging, at $15,000 to $50,000 or more a year depending on volume and complexity. High-volume matching is where the price climbs.
  • Term. FloQast sells annual contracts. Multi-year terms are the usual lever for a discount, at the cost of flexibility.

Removing per-user fees helps a growing team, because adding a staff accountant or a reviewer no longer adds a line. It does not make the contract small. It moves the meter from people to scope.

How much does FloQast cost per year?

Vendr's median of $24,481 a year, from 312 purchases and updated February 2026, is the most useful single figure. The range matters more. The low end, about $10,000, fits a small team on close management with one entity. The high end, about $69,000, fits multi-entity teams buying automation and compliance together. Vendr also puts other modules at roughly $10,000 to $30,000 each under the older module packaging, which is why add-ons can double a first quote.

OptionAnnual costWhat you get
FloQast, low end of Vendr rangeAbout $10,100Close management for a small team, before implementation
FloQast, Vendr median$24,481A typical contract across 312 purchases
FloQast, high end of Vendr rangeAbout $68,700Multi-entity teams with automation and compliance
Numeric, Vendr median$15,000Close management for venture-backed teams, quote-only
AIStatements Growth$708Tied P&L, balance sheet and cash flow with written commentary, up to 5 companies

Those rows are not the same product. FloQast runs the close; AIStatements produces the statements after it. The comparison still belongs here, because a lot of teams book a close platform demo when what is actually late every month is the statement pack.

What does FloQast implementation cost?

FloQast's pricing page does not mention implementation, and that is the line most first-time buyers miss. Implementation is scoped and quoted alongside the subscription. Pricing trackers such as Coefficient put it anywhere from $5,000 to $50,000 depending on company size and ERP complexity. A single QuickBooks Online or Xero entity sits at the bottom of that range; several NetSuite subsidiaries with intercompany sit toward the top.

Ask for implementation as its own line, with the number of entities, reconciliations and checklist templates it covers. Also ask who does the work. A partner-led implementation is billed differently from one run by FloQast's own team.

Why does FloQast pricing look different on review sites?

Because the sources measure different things. A Capterra listing shows a single Basic plan at $999 a month, which matches nothing on the vendor page. ERPResearch reports contracts starting around $30,000 a year, SpendHound reports averages above $40,000, and Vendr's median is $24,481. Directory figures tend to be one buyer's quote or an old list; buyer-data platforms reflect many real contracts, skewed toward the companies that use them.

The rule we apply to every vendor on this site holds here too. Quote only the vendor's own page, date it, and use buyer data for the realistic range. We use the same method on our Numeric pricing breakdown.

Is FloQast worth it for a small finance team?

It depends on where your hours go. FloQast is built for a controller running a structured close with several accountants, an annual audit and an ERP such as NetSuite or Sage Intacct. For that team, a contract in the low tens of thousands that cuts days off the close and keeps the auditor happy is easy to justify.

A company with one staff accountant, an outside CPA and books in QuickBooks Online is a different case. The close is usually done in a week and the auditor, if there is one, comes once a year. When the expensive part of a quote turns out to be reconciliation automation, it is worth knowing that bank reconciliation software that matches statements to the books is sold on its own, without a full close platform around it.

And often the slow part is not the close at all. It is turning the closed month into a P&L, balance sheet and cash flow with an explanation an owner, a board or a lender can read. FloQast does not shorten that, because its flux analysis is written for the accounting team and the auditor, not for the people the accounting team reports to.

A cheaper route when the statement pack is the problem

AIStatements reads a trial balance or general ledger export from QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks Desktop, Xero, NetSuite, Sage Intacct or any CSV. It builds the three statements, checks that they tie (net income into retained earnings, ending cash on the cash flow equal to cash on the balance sheet), writes the variance commentary, computes margins, burn, runway, current ratio and days sales outstanding, and exports PDF and Excel in about a minute. Growth at $59 a month billed yearly adds multi-period comparisons, consolidation of up to five entities and an investor update draft. The side-by-side with FloQast and its competitors is on FloQast competitors and alternatives, and the finished deliverable is on monthly financial reporting package.

It does not run a close checklist, reconcile accounts, test controls or post journal entries. If the close is slow or failing audit, buy a close tool and get quotes from FloQast, BlackLine and Numeric on the same scope. Our month-end close software page shows which steps stay with that tool and which one a reporting layer takes over.

Questions to ask FloQast before you sign

  • Which package is the quote built on, and what does Close Management cost on its own?
  • With no per-user fees, what exactly is the meter: entities, reconciliations, transaction volume?
  • What is implementation priced at, who delivers it and how many entities does it cover?
  • Is Risk and Compliance in the quote, and do you need it this year?
  • Is the contract annual or multi-year, and what is the renewal increase cap?

FloQast pricing questions buyers ask

How much does FloQast cost?

FloQast does not list a price. Close Management, Close AI and Risk and Compliance are all quoted after a sales conversation, read 12 October 2026. Vendr reports a median contract of $24,481 a year across 312 purchases, ranging from $10,147 to $68,727. Implementation is quoted separately and can add $5,000 to $50,000 in year one.

Does FloQast charge per user?

No. FloQast's pricing page leads with "No Per-User Fees" and says packages scale with business outcomes rather than headcount. In practice the quote follows scope: which package, how many entities and ERPs, and how much reconciliation and matching volume. Adding an accountant does not raise the price, but adding entities can.

Does FloQast have a free trial?

No. There is no free plan and no self-serve trial on floqast.com. Every package starts with a demo and a quote. If you want to test a reporting tool on your own numbers before paying, AIStatements offers a one-time demo on your own export before you choose a plan.

Is FloQast cheaper than BlackLine?

It depends on scope, because neither publishes a price. BlackLine is built for large enterprises with complex reconciliation volume and dedicated admins, while FloQast's buyer data centers on about $24,500 a year for mostly mid-size teams. The only fair comparison is two written quotes on the same entity count and scope, with implementation as a separate line.

What is cheaper than FloQast for monthly financial statements?

If the close already works and you only need the statements, a reporting tool costs a fraction of a close platform. AIStatements produces a tied P&L, balance sheet and cash flow with commentary from a QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite or CSV export from $24 a month billed yearly, or $708 a year on Growth for up to five companies.
